Copper Canyon Grill in Gaithersburg (located in Rio at 100 Boardwalk Place) has opened a very unique dining and bar experience with the addition of a barge on the nine-acre Rio lake. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 7, 2024, Copper Canyon Grill unveiled the name for its dining barge: "The Lakoue House at Copper Canyon."

The Lake House at Copper Canyon will operate seasonally and will close annually once the weather gets too cold for use. Daily hours of operation are the same as the restaurant.

The Lake House and renovated patio take advantage of the beautiful, picturesque views of the lake and provide the perfect social setting for a casual dining experience unlike any other in the Washington, D.C. region.
